Batty Bluebird

This female bluebird is convinced that she would really like to set up residence in our living room. She persistently tries to fly through the picture window several times a day. She either hovers in front of the window or perches on the ledge and pecks at the window - much to the cats' delight! The male bluebird has also tried this occasionally, but he doesn't seem as possessed. We ordered a bird house that attaches to the window and has a see through back panel yesterday. I'm going to put it up on the front window to see if they will nest there. That would be so interesting to watch! Maybe we'll have lots of bluebirds soon! I'll keep you posted.
